Yup

I did a whole heck of a lot of baking over the holidays ... chocolate chip cookies, roasted banana bread, chocolate and vanilla bean pinwheel cookies, chocolate-covered pretzels (not technically "baked," but you get the drift). They were all tasty, but there was definitely one show-stopper in my eyes - peanut butter cupcakes with chocolate ganache frosting. They were just so good. I have a certain weakness for peanut butter and chocolate when they co-mingle, but this took it to a new level for me. Throw in an ice-cold glass of milk, and I'm done for.

I need to play with the recipe a little bit more before I'm ready to share it, but luckily L's birthday is right around the corner and he has already requested that I recreate it in cake form. I know ... it's hard work, but someone's got to do it.
